Productive Potential of Bacillus and Pseudomonas Strains Grown in the Presence of Iron, Zinc and Copper Salts

Abstract:
Identifying and obtaining biotechnological solutions for agriculture, such as the development of antimicrobial agents with highly effective biological properties and plant productivity stimulants, are sustainable solutions, friendly to the environment and harmless to humans. Due to the importance of iron and zinc for plant growth and development, as well as copper used to protect plants against a wide range of fungal and bacterial diseases, studies have been initiated to identify and select new strains of microorganisms with the potential to synthesize bioactive substances when grown in the presence of iron, zinc and copper-based compounds. Thus, the effect of iron, zinc and copper compounds on the productivity of three strains of Bacillus sp. bacteria and three strains of Pseudomonas sp. with antimicrobial action on phytopathogens was tested.
