Evaluarea obiectelor de proprietate intelectuală – aspecte teoretice și practice

Natalia Mogol

Intellectus, 2025, issue 2, 6-11

Abstract: The valuation of intellectual property objects (IPO) is a fundamental element of the knowledge-based economy. The article examines the legal and institutional framework of IPO valuation in the Re-public of Moldova, with reference to Law No 989/2002 on Valuation Activity, Government Decision No 783/2003 on Valuation of Intellectual Property Objects and Order No 21/2025 approving the Valuation Standards of the Agency for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre. The main methodological valuation approaches are analyzed – by income, by market and by cost – in correlation with the specifics of intangible assets and the purposes of valuation. Based on representative judicial cases, the practical challenges and risks of under- or overvaluation of IPO are highlighted. The conclusions emphasize the need for the uniform application of national and international standards, strengthening the role of AGEPI and developing a professional culture in the field of IPO valuation.
