Developing world-class operations staff

Martyn Cuff

Journal of Securities Operations & Custody, 2010, vol. 3, issue 1, 73-83

Abstract: Operations is a primary activity for a fund management business. As such, a business that wants to be world-class needs to have a leading operating model. A key element of such a model is the staff. It is necessary to put a sustained focus upon how to develop world-class operational staff to ensure the securities industry is fit to embrace the significant future developments that are expected.
