The disinflation process in Spain. A look at the role of wages

Abstract: This article briefly describes the Spanish disinflation process since the mid eighties, with special attention to the role of wage behaviour in this process. Its potential role in the more difficult task of maintaining and even improving the Spanish economy’s stability record is also assessed.
