Abstract:
During the recent crisis, the degree of financial pressure borne by corporations grew rapidly, with the percentage of those whose operating income was not sufficient to cover interest payments increasing. This financial pressure increased, to a greater extent, in small and in construction and real estate companies. A progressive improvement has been observed from 2013 onwards, and there has been a significant reduction in the proportion of companies in a vulnerable position, especially in the SMEs segment.
