Fisher's “Inverse Probability” of 1930

Abstract: In 1930 R. A. Fisher put forward the fiducial argument. This paper discusses the argument and its origins in Fisher's earlier work. It also emphasises the contribution of Mordecal Ezekiel to the 1930 publication.
