Analysis of Covariance with Non‐normal Errors

Abstract:
Analysis of covariance techniques have been developed primarily for normally distributed errors. We give solutions when the errors have non‐normal distributions. We show that our solutions are efficient and robust. We provide a real‐life example. Les techniques d' Analyse de la Covariance (ANOCOVA) ont été développées essentiellement pour des modèles à erreurs gaussiennes. Nous établissons des solutions pour le cas non gaussien et montrons que celles‐ci sont efficaces et robustes. Un exemple réel est traité.
