Abstract:
The Technical Information Program (TIP) system provides a powerful text handling capability on the remote‐access CTSS computer facility at MIT. The use of this system in a predetermined file exercise is described. Computer cost figures are given as an approximate measure of the difficulty of performing sections of the exercise with this system.
