William D. Mathews

Journal of the American Society for Information Science, 1970, vol. 21, issue 3, 204-208

Abstract: The Technical Information Program (TIP) system provides a powerful text handling capability on the remote‐access CTSS computer facility at MIT. The use of this system in a predetermined file exercise is described. Computer cost figures are given as an approximate measure of the difficulty of performing sections of the exercise with this system.
