Kiviat‐graphs as a means for displaying performance data for on‐line retrieval systems

Abstract: In order to monitor the performance of an information system, one must keep track of a large number of interrelated parameters. A Kiviat‐graph is a graphical device for plotting a number of parameters on the same axes. An application of this technique to information system performance data is shown.
