Utilizing library constituents' perceived needs in allocating journal costs

Abstract:
The utilization of constituents' perceived needs for titles as a means of ascribing scholarly journal collection support and costs to academic programs is advocated as more meaningful than the tradition of utilizing the classification of titles.
