European research letter: Teaching online information retrieval in united kingdom library schools

Abstract:
A review is presented of recent and current work in the United Kingdom on developing computer assisted learning (CAL) aids for the teaching of online information retrieval. The aids include tape‐slide presentations, teaching packages, and both simulations and emulations of commercial retrieval services.
