The Fussler sampling technique

Ronald Rousseau

Journal of the American Society for Information Science, 1988, vol. 39, issue 6, 421-422

Abstract: This article discusses a sampling technique suggested by Fussler and further described by Bookstein. We show that Fussler's method, which takes into account that books vary in thickness, is always better than sampling by length. © 1988 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
