Journal of the American Society for Information Science, 1989, vol. 40, issue 3, 153-157
Abstract:
This research letter discusses online catalogue (OPAC) research in Europe. It concentrates on experimental research in OPAC development although some OPAC‐related research is also included. Four general areas are identified: interaction/interface design, subject access, functional research, and OPAC networks. Three operational OPACs, not available outside Europe, are also discussed. © 1989 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
