Government's role in reducing “Year‐2000” risks

Abstract:
The year‐2000 computer problem poses many risks to modern economic society. There are important roles that governmental bodies can play in helping to mitigate these risks. Some of these are regulatory and others legislative. This article outlines these initiatives.
