On The Geometrical Representation of Allocations and Matrix Games

Richard William Farebrother

Manchester School, 2001, vol. 69, issue 4, 477-480

Abstract: We describe the geometrical representation of allocations of quantities of goods, votes or probabilities between two or more persons, parties or strategies. We are particularly concerned with the representation of the time‐varying allocation of votes between three political parties and with the time‐invariant allocation of probabilities between the three strategies available to one of the participants in some matrix games.
