Abstract:
Mutual comparison of turnover. The owners of industrial enterprises have an inclination to compare their turnover with that of enterprises which work under approximately the same conditions e.g. with regard to locality, assortment and size of the turnover. However, it is very well possible that the trend of the turnover of these approximately similar undertakings diverges from the development of the turnover of the entire line of business. A comparison of enterprises with regard to the development of the turnover will therefore always have to comprise both a comparison with the corresponding group and with the entire line of business.
