Abstract:
An index‐method can be applied to make a survey of the most important groups of stock‐items in order to obtain a yardstick to set priorities for a programmed detail‐study. Comparison of the frequency of usage per main‐characteristic and the available (resp. wishable) technical standards based on cost figures will lead to proper estimates of the optimal ranking within each stock‐item‐group.
