Abstract:
On behalf of the long term weatherforecast a great number of correlations between the weatherconditions elsewhere and those in our country have to be calculated and considered. In this paper the Kon. Ned. Meteorologisch Instituut at De Bilt presents a method to find the best applicable meteorological elements to determine our weatherconditions in future. For the calculation of the best multiple coefficients of correlation, the partial coefficients of correlation are arranged in a so called correlationtriangle.
