A method for taking road traffic censuses

Abstract: For some time the department of Statistical analysis of the Netherlands Central Bureau of Statistics has been engaged in developing sampling methods for taking road traffic censuses. This paper summarizes work that is being done on designing methods for traffic surveys on State and provincial roads.
