On the relative precision of several allocations in stratified sampling

J.J.A. Moors

Statistica Neerlandica, 1987, vol. 41, issue 3, 203-210

Abstract: MOORS (1973) gave lower bounds for the relative precision of different allocations compared to Neyman allocation in stratified sampling. These results are extended here to the relative precision with respect to optimal allocation. A result of COCHRAN (1977) is generalized.
