Note on discrete a‐unimodality

Abstract: An interpretation is given of ABOUAMMOH'S (1987) discrete analogue of the (one‐dimensional) definition of a‐unimodality by Olshen and Savage. The concepts are of some interest in the context of selfdecomposability.
