Abstract:
Nomographic determination of the parameters of a sampling plan. For ordinary single sampling plans, and for single and double sampling plans according to Wharton we may, under Poisson conditions, determine the sample size, n, and the maximum number of defectives, c, permitted in a sample, by means of a very simple nomogram. We have to enter this nomogram by means of the, discriminating power of the plan which is defined as the ratio of the lot tolerance percent defective to the acceptable quality level.
