Goodness of fit tests for “Chimeric” alternatives

Abstract:
In this paper we discuss nonparametric goodness of fit theory for alternatives, which, in practical terms, manifest themselves not as a “smooth” and “small” deviation “everywhere”, but as still not big systematic “stains” or highly oscillating patterns as compared to the regular null hypothesis.
