Abstract:
Examination of water in reservoirs of Ukraine by passive monitoring methods allows to detect content of heavy metals in amounts that greatly exceed the MPC. This paper deals with results of the monitoring of toxic substances in the small rivers of the Kiev region, which are caused by the influence of anthropogenic factors. As well as water ecosystems condition and environmental assessment have been analyzed by a range of indicators.
