Abstract:
On the basis of experimental studies it has been found that when making composts on the basis of sewage sludge a certain decrease in the content of mobile forms of heavy metals is achieved in comparison with the introduction of fresh sewage sludge. The content in the arable (0–20 cm) and subarable (20–40 cm) layers of sod-podzolic soil has depended on the amount of introduced fresh sewage sludge and properties of separate chemical elements.
