Abstract: This paper deals with the impact of new insecticidal strains of bacteria of the Bacillus thuringiensis species and chemical insecticide the Konfidor Maxi on the photosynthetic apparatus of the apple tree leaves. The B. thuringiensis contains a different set of toxins in its metabolites, which are presented by specific βendotoxin and water soluble β-exotoxin. It has been found that the strains synthesizing β-exotoxin, cause a negative impact on plant, strains without β-exotoxin, vice versa, stimulate an increase in the amount of green and yellow pigments, the Konfidor Maxi does not cause a significant impact on the pigment system of the apple tree.
