Abstract: This paper deals with theoretical and methodological foundations for improving the management system of medicinal plant material production in Ukraine. The author gives structural and logical scheme on operation of the management system of medicinal plant material production with due regard to the powers of the ministries and departments that coordinate work in the field, as well as areas of the interaction with organizations of this system
