Peculiarities of rural green tourism and prospects of its development in Ukraine

Abstract: This paper deals with characteristics of the organization of rural green tourism in Ukraine. Rural green tourism is considered as a determining factor in the development of rural territories of Vinnytsya region. The author gives directions of development of rural green tourism in Vinnytsya region. The author shows the concept in the tourism business, «agro-hotel» and «agro farmstead». The article analyzes the development of rural green tourism for the nine months in 2015 in Vinnytsya region. It has been found that in the field, the activity of 75 farmsteads was provided, where arts and crafts are presented widely. Major tourist areas of Vinnitsa region, where rural tourism is developing, are: Yampolskiy, Barskiy, Mogilev-Podol’skiy, Murowano-Kyrylovetskiy, Zhmerynskiy, Peschanskiy regions. The author gives socio-economic importance of the rural green tourism development for the state and the factors restricting and hindering the development of rural green tourism in Ukraine.
