This paper deals with aspects of natural resources management in terms of creating protected areas. Theoretical and methodological foundations of cost modeling to preserve natural protected objects in the natural state, depending on Sozological settings have been considered. Main factors influencing the amount of expenditure to preserve natural protected areas have been identified
