Abstract: It was found that strong correlations exist between the sugar content and the content of inulin, between the yields of root crops and harvesting and inulin yield and collection of dry matter. In determining the correlations, it was found that the yield of root crops and the content of inulin and between inulin content and dry matter content there is an average correlation. Given that the method of determining the inulin is more complicated than methodology for determining the dry matter and sugars, it is advisable to carry out during the initial stages selecting on the content of dry matter and content of sugars. Therefore, in order to increase the output of inulin, it is advisable to carry out selections on mentioned indicators
