Abstract: This paper deals with methodological basis of Radiological Safety Management System, providing a set of approaches, methods, theories, defining the purpose of the practical results of the study. The author substantiates the feasibility of using a system of forecasting environmental safety in agricultural production in terms of radioactive contamination, as opposed to traditional approach to limiting the use of the contaminated lands. The determining factor is taken as 137Cs transfer factor in the link «soil - plant»

Keywords: density of contamination; specific activity of 137Cs; forage crops; sod-podzolic soil (search for similar items in EconPapers)
