Abstract: This paper deals with agrarian landscapes in Rivne region by the degree of ecological balance in the ratio of arable land to total area of environmentally sustainable lands, making it possible to identify areas with unsatisfactory environmental condition and reduced resistance to degradation processes. Functional use of land resources of the region has been analyzed, and excessive economic cultivation of the territory as well as environmental imbalances in land in agricultural landscapes found
