Abstract: This paper deals with assessment of the economic performance indicators of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine. Dynamics of contaminants emissions in the agricultural sector on example of Zhytomyr region has been analyzed. General environmental requirements to the agricultural enterprises activity have been identified. Stages over the environmental management implementation in agricultural enterprises heve been designed.
