Abstract: This paper deals with Ukrainian regions, which are characterized by an insufficient level percentage of forest land and unsatisfactory nature of the dynamics of this indicator. The author’s method on comparative evaluation of the radioactive contamination level in forest ecosystems has been proposed. Regions with the highest level of contamination in forest area by 134+137Cs isotopes have been identified
