Seasonal ration structure of domestic goats grazing in the forest ecosystems in Zhytomyr Polissya

Abstract: This paper deals with forage behavior of domesticated goats under conditions of grazing in pine and mixed forests in Zhytomyr Polissya. It was found that domesticated goats which differ by browser type of stern behavior, willing to use low capacity forested grasslands, even in the winter period. Using the results of ethological research, it was found a seasonal ration structure of domesticated goats for grazing in forest ecosystems. The results of research should be used to model the feeding of animals in terms of forest grazing land, animals feeding planning and preparation of radiological forecasts.
