Abstract: This paper deals with conceptual basis of economic mechanism for sustainable use of agricultural lands. The author considers the impact of various factors of economic and ecological character on the formation of sustainable utilization of land resources. The author substantiates conceptual approaches to the essence of sustainable development. The author suggests economic mechanism to ensure sustainable use of agricultural lands
