Abstract: This paper deals with main directions in the development of the agrarian sector of economy in conditions of irrigation in the context of ensuring environmental safety of agricultural production on irrigated lands, which is the consolidation of agricultural lands, optimization of land use, the introduction of environmental insurance of risks during economic activity on irrigated landsas well as the greening of water management and reclamation complex
