Abstract: This paper deals with establishment of forestry in the Ternopil region in the context of changes in economic relations in Ukraine, including resulting from implementation of land reform. The author gives forestry aspects, starting with the acquisition of land use and forest exploitation within forestry purposes lands, their administrative and economic division.
