Abstract:
This paper deals with the modern tendencies of the evolution of gray forest soils after their removal from prolonged irrigation by biologically purified sewage waters of Kyiv (25 years) and river water (5 years). The author has found that the modern direction of the evolution of gray forest soils, which was seized seven years ago from prolonged irrigation by sewage in a non-irrigable, is to reduce their irrigational degradation due to natural processes and the nature of the use of these lands. At the present stage of development, the soils evolve according to a kind of eluvial type of soil formation and have a satisfactory ecological and agro-ameliorative state
