Abstract:
The estimation of the current state and trends of nitrogen use in the field of animal husbandry of Ukraine for the last 15 years according to European approaches has been carried out. The dynamics of the use of land resources, the relative anthropogenic loading of various branches of livestock on the unit area of agricultural land, feed costs and animal productivity level haMy been shown. The quantitative indices of the use of nitrogen for the production of livestock products, in particular manure, and nitrogen losses from the emission of ammonia and nitrous oxide have been calculated.
