Abstract: Supply Chain Orientation (SCO) is a necessary condition for measures of Supply Chain Management (SCM). Suppliers of dairy cooperatives should exhibit a high SCO and be ready to implement SCM measures. By means of an empirical investigation among dairy farmers, factors influencing SCO are identified and tested with respect to their impact on SCM implementation.
