Abstract: The aim of the paper is to evaluate the effectiveness of using the gender as a new communication tool in political speeches using the method of secondary analysis of documents. The contribution analyzes the common elements of masculine and feminine rhetoric and categorizes them into groups. The secondary aim is to transfer the outputs of already existing research into the Slovak political environment. Based on the analysis of the documents, the author came to the conclusion that gender as a new communication tool has its use in political speeches, can serve to build communication strategies and serve as a tool of political manipulation and propaganda, even in the Slovak political environment.
