Abstract:
This article analyses the presence of Chinese investments in the European Union while paying special attention to the Visegrad Group. Its main goal is to present the latest available data concerning Chinese investments in the V4 countries. The main methods used in the article are analysis and comparison. In particular, available literature and statistical data from the Statistical Office of the European Communities (Eurostat) and several central banks of the EU member states were used in the article. The first part of the article focuses on the approximation of the overall level of FDI in the EU and the distribution of Chinese FDI in the EU. The second part is individually dedicated to the V4 countries to better understanding of different presence of Chinese FDI. The article contains three tables.
