Abstract: Just as the Central Asia was connected to the “Big Game” in the past, so is its future connected to the “Big Change”. The dynamics of the Central Asian region development foreshadows that in the years to come, the whole area will be situated in the process of changes, unparallel to the development in the past. The aim of this paper is to point at the borders issue of the ex-Soviet countries area, which, under the influence of several factors, including rising migration, finds its place in the predictions of experts about the future of this part of Asia.
