Abstract:
Europe 2020 is a strategic document to ensure that the European Union becomes a competitive, inclusive and sustainable economy. The Strategy has set 5 targets at EU level and Member States have been able to set their national targets. The aim of the article is to describe how the V-4 countries meet their national targets in individual priorities in comparison with the EU targets. In the analysis of the achievement of objectives, we describe the fundamental problems that constitute obstacles to the achievement of the national objectives, which are based on the European Commission recommendation of 2019. In conclusion, the V-4 Member States largely meet their national targets before the deadline. whether they were not set ambitiously. The analysis is based on official documents and publications of the EU and Eurostat statistical database.
