Abstract: The Part 4 of this study analyzes Sino-Indian relations after the end of Cold War, which made it suitable for both countries to preserve the process of normalization of mutual relations. This process was dramatically interrupted by Indian nuclear tests in May 1998. However positive atmosphere in Sino-Indian relation continued even in the 21st Century. In 2003 China de facto recognized Sikkim as part of India. In 2008 both countries signed A Shared Vision for the 21st Century of the People's Republic of China and the Republic of India, which represents an important step towards common approach to international politics, and was a preparation for foundation of BRIC group. However even after the foundation of BRIC in June 2009, Sino-Indian relation were not smooth. In large part due to unresolved border dispute. Major pillar of bilateral relations is possible to consider mutual trade.
