Abstract: Regionalization is one of the important factors that has influenced developments in Ukraine since the beginning of independence. The paper deals with the issue of regionalization of Ukraine in the context of economic processes. The analysis of this aspect points to the structural changes in the economic and social life of the Ukrainian regions and reveals the creation of a new regional model that provides impetus to the development of the regions of Ukraine.
