Abstract: The article presents opinions of full-time students of Slovak business and economic faculties on the European Union (EU) and its subsidies into the agriculture, on the Slovak Republic accession to the EU and its economic effects. There was a research conducted in 2003, 2004 and 2005 on a sample of 228, 386 and 413 students respectively. Answers were analyzed according to gender, the size of households and the region of permanent residency.
