Abstract:
The paper evaluates the current state of economic diplomacy in Slovakia through the perspective of a practitioner. A short analysis of the objectives, organizational structure, actors involved in the Slovak economic diplomacy and their relationship is given. Then the main problems and challenges for the Slovak economic diplomacy are identified. In order to achieve the aim of the paper a structured interview with former Slovak economic diplomat was done, following the structure of the main challenges identified in the second part.
