Abstract: The article analyzes the situation in the Wider Black Sea region in conditions of instability and tensions of world system, reveals the geopolitical aspects of opposition between regional and extra-regional forces and non-state actors in the region. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the concept of „Wider Black Sea Region”, which is regarded as a process embodied in the space with the changing geography and gaining its weight due to its geopolitical importance.
